You can drive 30 km to reach Dhulikhel to get rid of city crowd and stare at beautiful Himalayas and then further drive 8 km to another very important as well as magnificent Buddhist monastery, Namo Budhha. About 27 km away from the Kathmandu is Nagarkot famous for its serenity and viewing Sunrise and Himalayas. You can reach in half an hour to a newly operated Chandragiri Cable Car that takes you to the top of the Chandragiri Hill from where you can view the Kathmandu valley and extra-ordinary view of mountains.
